Your information, handled with care
Talking about selling your home can be personal. We want you to understand what happens to the information you share with us, who may receive it, and the choices you have.
New Leaf Home Buyers is a DBA of Mom Called LLC. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to that business. This policy covers newleafbuyshomes.com and information you share with us about a possible property sale.
When you ask us about your property, Chad or Darren will follow up personally. Requesting an offer does not obligate you to sell. It does not sign you up for unrelated marketing or give another business permission to contact you.
What we collect and why
Information you share. We collect the contact and property details you provide through our forms, calls, texts, emails, or conversations. This may include your name, phone number, email address, property address, photos, the property’s condition, and your preferred timing. We use it to respond, evaluate the property, discuss an offer, and help with a transaction you choose to pursue.
You decide how much background to share. Please do not send Social Security numbers, bank account details, or identification documents through the website inquiry form. If additional documents are needed later, we will discuss how to provide them.
Property information. We may review public property, ownership, tax, and comparable-sale records to understand the property and prepare an offer.
Website information. Our website and its service providers may collect your IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, referring links, cookie identifiers, and interactions such as form submissions or calls from an ad. We use this information to operate and protect the website, understand its use, and measure advertising results. These details are not necessarily anonymous.
Who may receive your information
Chad and Darren use your inquiry to help you explore a sale. Information may also be handled in these limited circumstances:
- Website and communication support: providers that host and maintain our website, process forms, deliver or store communications, and help protect our systems.
- A transaction you choose to pursue: title and escrow companies, professional advisers, and other participants who need relevant information to evaluate or complete that transaction. We ask for your permission before sharing your contact details with another business for its own follow-up.
- Website measurement: Google receives website and advertising interaction information through the tools described below.
- Legal and security needs: when reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, respond to valid legal requests, prevent fraud, or protect legal rights.
We do not sell, rent, or distribute the contact information you submit as a marketing lead without your permission. Sharing information to support your inquiry or an agreed transaction is different from giving another business permission to market to you.
Calls, texts, and emails
We may contact you by phone, text, or email about your inquiry, using the details you provide. Tell us your preferred way to communicate or let us know if you no longer want follow-up. You can reply to us or use the contact details below. If you receive a text, you may reply STOP to request that texts stop.
We ask for your agreement before sending unrelated marketing communications. Visiting this website or reading this policy does not, by itself, give consent to marketing calls or texts.
Cookies and Google tools
We use Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking, and Google Tag Manager. Cookies and similar technologies help us understand how visitors find and use the website and whether advertising leads to an inquiry or phone call. Call measurement can include information such as when a call occurred and its duration.
Google may collect and process device, cookie, and website interaction information under its own policies. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
You can manage or delete cookies in your browser settings. Google also offers an Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers and advertising preferences through My Ad Center. These tools have different scopes; changing an advertising preference does not stop all website measurement. Blocking cookies may affect some website features.
Keeping and protecting information
We retain inquiry and transaction records to respond to requests, manage transactions, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. The retention period depends on the type of information and those needs. You can contact us to ask about the information we hold or request deletion.
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information and limit access to people and providers who need it for their work. No website or electronic system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and privacy requests
You may ask us to stop inquiry follow-up, correct information, explain what information we hold, or delete it. We may need to verify your identity before providing or changing records. Some information may need to be retained for legal obligations, an ongoing transaction, or other permitted purposes. We will explain any limits that apply to your request and honor privacy rights required by applicable law.
For a question or request, contact Chad or Darren at chad@newleafbuyshomes.com or (801) 678-2890. You do not need to request an offer to ask a privacy question.
Updates to this policy
We will post updates on this page and change the date above. If a change requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it. A policy update does not replace permission we have promised to request.
